Christmas Bird Count

Help count birds wintering at Wehr. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced birder, we welcome you to participate. This count is held throughout the country and provides information on long-term trends in our avian fauna. Results will be submitted to the National Audubon Society. Bring field guides and binoculars if you’d like. At noon, enjoy a potluck chili lunch (bring a dish to pass). Continue the count in the afternoon if you’ve been “bitten by the birding bug.”
