Homemade Holiday Open House December 3

Sat., Dec. 3, 2011, 10 a.m.-2:30 pm

Kids 3 - 12 years old can visit the Nature Center any time between 10 am - 2:30 pm to make a Holiday project with their favorite adult.  Make your holiday gifts with ready to make nature crafts appropiate for kids of different ages.  Kids can celebrate the holidays and adults can get in on the fun.

Bring the kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, or youth groups to make some unique handmade gifts for the special people in their lives. Projects available include: tree cookie coasters, pencil holders, recycled crayons, ornaments, even bird feeders. Come for an hour or spend some time over lunch. Food will be available for purchase.  Children make three projects for the admission fee. Additional projects available for a fee.
